How Not
to Gamble.

Trying to make gambling a source of income.

Needing to win doesn’t make a win more likely.

When a bill depends on the next result, a losing period becomes more than disappointing. It leaves a gap that still needs filling.

Even someone with a real advantage can have long stretches of losses. A record that looks promising does not guarantee money will arrive when an expense is due.

Most people should expect gambling to cost money over time. A small number of profitable gamblers doesn’t change the uncertainty of your own results.

Before treating it as income, separate money you have already made and withdrawn from money you hope the next bets will make. Necessary expenses can’t be paid with an expected result.
