Thinking small bets mean small total spending.
The first deposit doesn’t tell you what the session cost.
You put in $20, lose it, and add another $20. Later, another deposit feels small because it is the same amount you were comfortable with at the start.
Five $20 deposits are $100. Describing the night as “just $20 bets” misses that total.
There are two numbers worth separating: the net amount you’ve spent, and the total amount wagered. Reusing winnings can make the second much larger than the first.
Check the whole session or a consistent period across accounts. If your plan was to spend $20, adding another $20 is a change to the plan, even when the individual bets stay small.
