Betting because you want something to bet on.
The games you follow are over. Now you’re looking through table tennis fixtures you know nothing about.
There is nothing inherently wrong with an unfamiliar sport. The useful thing to notice is why you’ve moved to it.
You may have started with a particular game in mind. Now you’re scrolling through whatever is live because stopping would leave you bored, down money, or waiting for tomorrow.
At that point, finding another event has become the goal. You’re no longer choosing between bets for the same reasons that brought you to the app.
Late-night table tennis is one example. It could be another league, a casino tab, or a bet on the next play. Ask whether you actually wanted this bet, or just wanted the betting to continue.
